TBN Booster is a chemical additive formulated to increase the Total Base Number (TBN) of lubricating oils. TBN is a measure of the oil’s ability to neutralize acidic contaminants generated during combustion and oil oxidation. Maintaining a high TBN helps protect engine components from corrosion and wear, especially in harsh operating conditions.

• Composition: Typically based on alkaline compounds such as magnesium or calcium sulfonates, phenates, or salicylates.

• Appearance: Usually a dark-colored liquid or viscous concentrate.

• Function: Increases the alkalinity of used or fresh oils to neutralize acids and extend oil life.
